A consultation that goes beyond the conversation

My philosophy

Every person is unique. That is why, in my practice, the consultation is not limited to the time we spend together. Nothing is improvised in session: every meeting is part of a three-part process.
Before
During
After
Preparatory work
Your file is studied before every meeting, so that our time together is fully devoted to you.
A detailed analysis
An in-depth look at your situation as a whole: terrain, lifestyle habits, vitality.
Personalized suggestions
Your naturopathic suggestions are built from a real study of your file — never generic.
This approach aims to establish lasting, coherent foundations for your balance.

Initial consultation and the start of your journey

Your first meeting

The first meeting provides an in-depth review of your situation. We go over your health history, lifestyle habits, energy level and vitality, stress factors, your environment and more. A health questionnaire is sent to you beforehand so we can make the most of our time together.

This meeting establishes a thorough understanding of your naturopathic terrain and helps identify priority areas of support. From the very first meeting, you leave with initial, targeted suggestions to begin your journey without feeling overwhelmed. Naturopathy then progresses step by step, observing how your body responds: the avenues are refined and adjusted over the follow-ups. It is this gradual progression that makes the support truly personalized and lasting.

The length of the first meeting adapts to your situation, and beyond the in-session time, each initial consultation includes a personalized off-session analysis. It is this study and preparation that ensure support truly tailored to you, rather than generic naturopathic suggestions. Detailed durations and fees appear below.

The first follow-up usually takes place 2 to 4 weeks after the first meeting, based on your needs — an interval that allows time to observe how the body responds to the initial adjustments before building the next steps of your support.

Follow-ups and rhythm

Continuing the journey

Follow-ups are then generally spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart, depending on your needs. Over these meetings, the approach consolidates toward clear long-term guidance — a roadmap you can then follow on your own or with an annual review.

Follow-ups help assess how your situation is evolving and adjust the suggestions when relevant. They aim to track the evolution of lifestyle changes, clarify questions, adjust the proposed avenues and continue the support over time. The length and frequency of follow-ups are determined according to your needs and goals. Most often, sessions last 30 to 45 minutes; longer sessions remain available for more in-depth work. Short, focused follow-ups on a specific theme, scheduled more closely together, are also possible. Like the initial consultation, each follow-up includes off-session analysis in addition to the in-session time — generally comparable in length to the meeting itself, depending on the file: revisiting your file, reviewing all the test results you have had done, taking into account your current situation — including the products and medications you are taking, to keep your support safe — and answering your questions after the meeting.

Observation tools

When relevant

Certain observation tools may be used to examine various physiological indicators related to the naturopathic terrain: body composition analysis (BIA), urinary pH and specific gravity observation, or the Zinc Tally (taste perception of zinc). The comprehensive initial consultation already includes a selection of these observations. The Zinc Tally is included at no charge in all in-person meetings — consultations and follow-ups — when needed.

Fees

Consultation and support

A distinction that matters. In my practice, the stated duration is the naturopathic meeting itself. A 45-minute consultation means a full 45 minutes of live guidance: your file is studied beforehand, your suggestions are finalized afterwards, and booking your next appointment, payment and the transition time between appointments all take place outside the reserved time.

Other ways of practising exist. In many clinics, suggestions are developed live, during the meeting, and the stated duration includes booking, payment and about 5 minutes of transition between appointments — a “60-minute consultation” then represents 45 to 55 minutes of support, depending on whether the practitioner handles these steps themselves or a front desk takes care of them, with no file work before or after. It is a common and legitimate model; it simply is not mine.

If you are comparing offers, two questions let you compare like with like: does the stated duration include booking and payment? Is the analysis done during the meeting, or outside of it?

Annual package
For established clients: four follow-ups of 1 h spread over the year (~quarterly), to maintain your progress and adjust as the seasons change.

Insurance. While fees are not covered by Quebec Medicare (RAMQ), many private insurers reimburse naturopathic services. A receipt is provided for submission to your insurer; check your coverage with them.

Payment. Interac debit and Interac e-Transfer accepted.

Cancellation and rescheduling. In naturopathy, appointments are significantly longer than in conventional medicine and the time reserved is dedicated entirely to you. Notice is therefore required to cancel or reschedule a meeting; full terms appear on the Policies and terms page.

Natural health products. When supplements are suggested, you are directed to Unytii, a natural health product dispensary offering professional, courteous and fast service, where you receive a 5% privilege discount as a client.

Package perk. Clients enrolled in the Vitality Journey or the Annual Package receive a 20% discount on certain professional-grade natural health product brands, when these products are part of the naturopathic suggestions. This discount is obtained through a separate channel, the details of which are provided during your follow-up.

All fees are listed before taxes. Taxes (GST 5% + QST 9.975%) apply to all services

Naturopathy is an educational and complementary approach aimed at supporting lifestyle habits and vitality. It in no way replaces regular medical care, which must be maintained at all times. Naturopathic suggestions are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute a medical diagnosis or medical treatment.
