The following information outlines the main terms relating to the naturopathic consultations offered in Montreal, including payment conditions, cancellation policies and certain important elements concerning how the practice operates. These policies are intended to ensure a clear, respectful and professional framework for all consultations.
Taxes and fees
The fees shown do not include taxes. Applicable taxes (GST and QST) will be added at the time of payment. Fees may be changed without notice.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of each consultation. Packages (the Vitality Journey and the Annual Package) are paid in two installments, as detailed in the package terms below. Accepted payment methods are debit card and Interac e-transfer.
Receipts and insurance
A receipt in the name of the person who received the service is issued after each consultation, with the notation “naturopathy.” Most insurance companies reimburse naturopathic services. It is, however, your responsibility to verify the specific terms of your plan with your insurer.
Responsibility regarding reimbursement
Annie Morvan ND.A. is not responsible for the reimbursement terms offered by insurance companies. These terms vary considerably from one insurer to another, from one contract to another, and depending on the type of plan. Fees are payable regardless of the amount reimbursed by your insurer. Please note that naturopathy is often included within an overall amount shared with other disciplines (massage therapy, osteopathy, etc.). If this amount is exhausted, this reflects a choice in how services were allocated and does not constitute an absence of coverage for naturopathy.
Vitality Journey — conditions
The Vitality Journey includes four consultations, offered at a preferred rate. Terms:
Payment is made in two roughly equal installments: the first at the 1st meeting, the second at the 3rd meeting.
Four separate receipts (one per meeting) are issued for insurance purposes.
The journey is to be completed within a maximum of 4 months (an exceptional extension up to 6 months may be granted on request, e.g. a health condition).
Meetings may be rescheduled in accordance with the rescheduling policy.
You may end the journey at any time: the meetings already received are then re-billed at the regular à la carte rate, a corrected receipt is issued for each, and the balance is refunded to you. Administrative fees of $25 may apply.
Any meeting cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice is considered used, except in exceptional circumstances.
The journey is personal and non-transferable.
Annual package — conditions
The Annual Package includes four consultations, at a preferred rate, spread across the year. Terms:

Rescheduling and appointment duration
An appointment may be rescheduled at no charge, provided this is done at least 48 hours in advance. Please plan carefully in order to respect the reserved time slots. The booked duration corresponds to the time planned for the session. If your situation requires more time, this additional time is billed in 15-minute increments, or scheduled as a follow-up — whichever works best. In the event of a late arrival, the session ends at the scheduled time in order to respect subsequent appointments; the fee remains unchanged.
Cancellation
Any consultation cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice is charged at 100%, including those included in a package. Please respect this notice period, except in the case of a documented medical emergency. If I must exceptionally cancel or reschedule an appointment, you will be notified as soon as possible and a new appointment will be offered at no charge.
Online consultations (Zoom)
For online consultations, a Zoom link is sent to you before the appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure an adequate connection and a quiet environment. In the event of a technical issue, the session is resumed or completed by phone.

The value of private practice
In addition to the time spent in consultation, private practice involves analysis and preparation work carried out outside the session, as well as all the responsibilities associated with autonomous professional practice. Each consultation is part of a rigorous framework aimed at offering personalized, thoughtful and high-quality support. Like any independent practice, professional activity also involves costs related to continuing education, clinical tools, software, professional liability insurance, taxes, premises and administrative management. The time devoted to each client therefore goes beyond the length of the meeting itself and also includes the reflection and preparation needed to develop suggestions tailored to each person’s situation. Any last-minute cancellation generally results in the complete loss of the reserved slot, since it often cannot be filled in time and part of the preparatory work has already been done.
Independence of product suggestions
The product suggestions offered by Annie Morvan, ND.A., are entirely independent and based on criteria of quality and relevance for each client. Her approach is grounded in integrity and a constant concern to act in the person’s best interest. No products are sold on site.
Confidentiality and personal information
The personal information collected as part of the consultations, including questionnaires, observations and documents provided, is treated in strict confidence. This information is used solely within the context of naturopathic follow-up and is never shared with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law. Personal information is stored securely and accessible only to authorized persons. In accordance with the obligations set out in Quebec’s Law 25 and the Code of Ethics of the Association des naturopathes agréés du Québec (ANAQ), files are kept for a minimum of 7 years following the last consultation. She is not a physician, pharmacist, dietitian, psychologist or acupuncturist and performs no act reserved for these professions.
